Job Description

The position involves strategic planning, curriculum development, staff management, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning to promote student progress and achievement
Enhancing the vision for the school that aligns with the school’s overall mission.

Leading the planning, review, and evaluation of subject delivery and development.
Contributing to the school’s strategic planning and self-evaluation processes.

Ensuring a high-quality, relevant, and engaging curriculum is delivered.

Monitoring and evaluating teaching practices to ensure they are effective and aligned with best practice.
Promoting innovative teaching methods and the use of technology in the classroom.

Managing and supporting teaching staff within the department.
Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to staff.
Identifying and facilitating professional development opportunities for staff.

Tracking and monitoring student progress and achievement within the department.

Identifying and supporting students who need additional help or challenge.
Working with other staff to ensure students are progressing towards their academic potential.
