As a Mathematics Educator, you will have the opportunity to engage and motivate students aged 11-18, helping them to develop a genuine interest in Mathematics. Your expertise will allow you to teach using innovative, engaging, and interactive methods, integrating 21st-century skills and digital tools into your pedagogy
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an engaging and dynamic Mathematics curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Utilise digital resources and innovative educational tools to enhance student learning and engagement
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement
- Create an interactive classroom environment that encourages a love for Mathematics and nurtures critical thinking skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experienceEssential RequirementsQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline
- PGDE or recognised teaching qualification
- Cambridge IGCSE certification or training is highly desirable

- Minimum four years’ teaching experience
- Experience teaching Junior Secondary Basic Science
- Experience preparing students for WAEC Mathematics
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- Outstanding written and spoken English
- Confident use of digital learning technologies and virtual teaching resources
