The Early Years Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an engaging and developmentally appropriate educational program for children aged 0-5 years. The teacher fosters a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or similar framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning through play.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress and maintain accurate developmental records.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and share best practices.
